Australian Racing Board chief executive Andrew Harding has resigned his post to take up a position in Hong Kong.

He will leave the ARB in July and begin his new role as the Hong Kong Jockey Club’s Director of Racing Development in August.

Harding said his tenure at the ARB had given him great professional fulfilment but the rare opportunity and potential of his new role had persuaded him to leave.

The ARB is without a chairman from this week following the resignation of Bob Bentley who has also given up the same position with Racing Queensland which is undergoing a restructure following the recent change of government.
